Needlepoint 102: Background Stitches w/ Linzi November 10th

Welcome to Needlepoint 102: Background Stitches! You’ve mastered the basics...now let’s add a little more fun to your stitching!

This class is all about moving beyond the basic stitch and learning how decorative stitches can add texture, movement, and personality to your needlepoint. 

During class, you’ll learn and practice 6 different background stitches that you can use again and again on future projects!

We’ll talk about:

• 6 decorative background stitches and how to stitch each one

• How to read and follow a stitch diagram

• How to choose the right background stitch for your canvas

• How thread choice can change the look of a decorative stitch

• Tips for keeping your stitches neat and consistent

Your class includes everything you need to learn and practice:

• Needlepoint canvas designed specifically for the class

• All threads needed for your project

• Needle

The class will begin promptly at the scheduled start time. By the end of class, you’ll have six new stitches in your needlepoint toolbox and the confidence to start adding decorative backgrounds to your own projects!

Please Note: This is a Needlepoint 102 class and is designed for stitchers who are already comfortable with their needle and thread.
